R. GREGORY WATTS - received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with highest honors, from the University of Notre Dame in 1976, his Juris Doctor degree from The University of Alabama School of Law in 1979, and his Master of Law in Taxation from Emory University School of Law in 1981. While attending the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Watts was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. While attending the University of Alabama School of Law, Mr. Watts was a member of the Alabama Law Review and the Bench and Bar Academic Honor Society.

Mr. Watts practices in the areas of commercial law, taxation law, probate and trust administration and estate planning. He joined the Johnstone Adams law firm in 1985 and has been a member since 1988. Mr. Watts is a member of the American Bar Associations (Taxation and Corporation, Banking and Business Law Sections) and the Alabama State Bar (Tax Section and Elder Law Section) and the Mobile Bar Association. He is a long-time member of the Planning Committee for the Alabama CLE Estate Planning Seminar held annually, and has spoken on estate and gift tax and charitable planning at the Alabama CLE Estate Planning Seminar, the Alabama Federal Tax Clinic and other seminars.

Mr. Watts is a member of the Board of Directors of the Catholic Foundation of the Archdiocese of Mobile, Inc. and is President and a member of the Board of Directors of the McGill-Toolen Foundation, Inc. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Mobile Business Innovation Center, Inc. and the Mobile Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
